Current Research Interests

Current research interests include:

1. The development of an understanding of the secondary impact of skin disease on patients partners and families. Development of the Family Dermatology Life Quality Index and the Psoriasis Family Index and validation of these two new measures.

2. The influences on medical decision taking within clinical dermatology.

3. The impact of skin disease on how people with chronic skin disorders are influenced in terms of major long term life decision-taking.

4. Further validation studies are being carried out concerning the interpretation of Dermatology Life Quality Index scores (Minimal Important Difference).
