The MSc in Practical Dermatology launched in September 2009. The course begins with a 10-week block of online study to allow you to develop your study and research skills. Following the in-course formative assessment at the end of the 10-week study block, you will have 12 months to submit the 20,000 word dissertation. After this time, you will have 6 months to make any amendments. The MSc will be assessed by the submission of the dissertation.
Applicants must fulfil all of the following criteria:
- Have completed and passed the Diploma in Practical Dermatology online distance-learning course delivered by Cardiff University (2002-03 graduates onwards).
- Have combined score of 70% in the written coursework components of the course (including case histories).
- Satisfy the criteria of the Cardiff University General Entrance Requirement for English Language.
- Have access to a computer that is connected to the internet.
